I've developed some csv reports in the past through Apex code. Now, I've a requirement to develop a report in xlsx format. For CSV, I used ' , ' as delimiter and appended '.csv' to the file name. For XLSX, I used '\t' as the delimiter and appended '.xlsx'. But, if I open the generated file it throws the following error: the only problem is on how to return the file to download. In your method as soon as the page submits you present the file to download. I want to be able to do that but after an ajax request and not after a submit. I am currently using Oracle Apex version 18.2.0.00.12 on Internet Explorer on a computer running Windows 10. I am having a problem with downloading an Interactive Grid as a CSV file. On my Apex page I have an interactive grid and three page items. Two of the page items, P200_DATE_FROM and P200_DATE_TO, are Date Picker items. Include or Exclude column in APEX interactive report download if columns are added or removed and then CSV downloaded. Please let me know if there is any workaround. When the clients would download IRs they would have to click the “Download” link then click on the “CSV” button. We found this extra step unnecessary so here’s a way on how to do it in one step so that it will download as soon as they click “Download”. I have a button on an apex page that should allow the user to export data (based on a query not seen by the end user) into a CSV file. How to link this button to my query so we can export the result
